The Czechs want to extend the payments for the 72 L159 subsonic multi-role fighters they bought from Aero Vodochody by two years. The problem is that the Czech currency has fallen from 33 Koruna to the dollar to the current rate of 39, and the Czechs have to pay for the engines and electronics of the fighters in US dollars.--Stephen V Cole
