: Germany has approved several new arms programs (in addition to the A400M deal): 

@ Five K130 corvettes will be built for $1.5 billion; the last will enter
service in 2008.

@ The German Army will buy 202 Fennek 4x4 recon vehicles for $200 million
in a joint German-Dutch program.

@ The German Army will buy six unmanned recon drones for $200 million.

@ Germany has agreed to jointly develop a European version of the JSTARS surface-tracking radar with France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands.--Stephen V Cole
