Documents captured in Afghanistan, plus increased operations against al Qaeda around the world, indicate that Iraq has provided assistance for the terrorist organization. This has been low key stuff, along the lines of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." If enough compelling evidence of this can be found, and presented to American allies, more nations would sign on with a US invasion of Iraq. Lack of this kind of support is causing the US to rethink the feasibility of such an operation.
