Russian troops are finishing up their operation on the Georgian border. In the last two days, 21 rebels and one soldier were killed. A large group of rebels were trapped in a gorge and hit with artillery, air strikes, gunships and infantry attacks. Elsewhere in Chechnya, rebel attacks, killing one policeman and wounding five civilians.
