The Saudi Arabian National Guard (which has bought 1,117 LAV 8x8 armored cars) has now placed the expected order for 130 LAV 8x8 armored cars fitted as assault guns with 90mm cannons in a two-man Cockerill turret. The first of the 73 LAVs fitted with 120mm mortars will be received this year. --Stephen V Cole
